Mental Health in Agriculture Workshop
December 20, 2019

It is with great pride that we announce that two of our Team Members (Tammy Nilson and Katlynn Schaitel) have been awarded the opportunity to host a Mental Health in Agriculture Workshop through The Do More Agriculture Foundation.

The Do More Agriculture Foundation is a not-for-profit organization focusing on mental health in agriculture across Canada. Agriculture is an industry with a foundation of deep rural roots, hard work, resilience, strength and community. In order to uphold that image, those traits can also be the industry’s weakness as they become barriers for speaking up and seeking help. Producers are among the most vulnerable when it comes to mental health issues. Stress, anxiety, depression, emotional exhaustion and burnout are all high among producers. By collaborating with the entire industry and those working to address the state of mental health in Agriculture, we can and will make a substantial impact!

The Mental Health in Agriculture Workshop will take place on Tuesday January 14th, 2020 at the White Fox Community Center. The workshop is open to anyone in the community and completely FREE! For more information and to reserve your tickets for this event please visit the link.

We are thrilled to sponsor this community event along side Diamond North Credit Union!
